The first few days...

Since I started the 17 Day Diet last Wednesday, I'll catch up on the first few days in one post (copied from an accountability thread of a forum I belong to)...and then do a daily post from there on...so here goes...

Day 1 - Wednesday, 10/12/2011
First day on plan has been okay for me. I got all my water in...I don't think I've eaten enough though...I didn't wake up in time to make breakfast...so I just grabbed an orange on the way out. I had a salad for lunch and my chicken will be cooking for dinner as soon as the oven preheats! The chicken will be paired with some veggies...not sure what kind yet.
The only thing I didn't stick to today was working out. We're really behind at work so I decided on doing overtime rather than coming home and working out...hopefully I'll be better about it tomorrow.

Day 2 - Thursday, 10/13/2011
Day 2....so far so good. I ate more today...got up with enough time to cook some eggs and cut up an apple...had a gigantic salad for lunch...turkey and broccoli will be for dinner...oddly enough...I've never cooked a turkey breast...so I will be looking to Google for that.
I have my workout clothes on...running shoes on...now just looking for the willpower to get up and...RUN!
**In the end I was able to bake the turkey in some chicken broth and garlic...was pretty good!  I also did my jog / walk for about a mile.
**I forgot to weight myself on Wednesday, so I weighed myself Thursday morning - starting weight is 184 lbs.

Day 3 - Friday - 10/14/2011
Day 3 for me...still on plan!
Had some eggs and an apple for breakfast...and some green tea.
For lunch I only had an orange...I know I should've eaten more...but I just wasn't hungry.
Dinner I had chicken and green beans....was rather tasty.
I got a little distracted (by MSOS ) after work and didn't make it to the gym....but I did do Wii fit at least! The Fit has a cycling game where you cycle around this town going to check marks...took me over 20 mins to complete...but according to the game, I biked over 6 miles!
